Personally, I think this and the BMW 1 Series hatch to sedan conversion are the only ones that have worked. The old Megan hatch to sedan conversion, looked like they had pasted the boot on with sellotape. The Ikon, while not a bad car, went from funky hatch to bland generic “man with wife and 2.5 kids” car in one foul swoop. The Chevrolet Aveo’s original conversion to a sedan was simply disastrous (thank goodnes they decided to design a comlpetely different car for the sedan eventually).

So you can get a great driver’s hatch with a bigger boot and it still looks good. What could possibly be wrong with that?
